An outside right who first appeared for Rovers in October 1946. He was a key player in a very successful "Jubilee" season for Rovers who were celebrating 50 years in the Birmingham Combination. They won the league and the Worcestershire Senior Cup and got to the final of the Birmingham Senior Cup. Jack plyed in both finals, scoring in the Birmingham Senior Cup, where Rovers went down 2-1 to Wellington Town Reserves.

He was a key figure the following campaign, in what was another decent Rovers season. He played in the Birmingham Senior Cup Final defeat to Atherstone Town and the Worcestershire Senior Cup triumph over Hereford United.

He misssed a solitary game in the 1949/50 season, where Rovers finished runner-up in the Birmingham Combination.

He left to join Redditch Town in August 1950.
