A forward who made a couple of appearances in the Rovers reserve side in 1949 before signing for Stourbridge as a professional. He rejoined the Rovers in January 1950, where he was an immediate success in a side that went on to claim the runners-up spot in the Birmingham Combination.
He had also previously played for Worcester City and Kidderminster Harriers.
