A goalkeeper, who made his debut against Redditch Town, in the Birmingham Combination on 5 October 1910. He had previously played for Asbury Richmond.
In March 1911 he had a trial for Wolverhampton Wanderers Reserves after which he returned to the Rovers.
In November 1912, he moved to Willenhall Swifts.
