...Miller profile

The one of 4 brothers who played for the Rovers outside right W. Miller, and utility player E. Miller and H. Miller.

He was a half back who had previously been playing in the Birmingham Works League. He made his debut against Halesowen Town, in the Birmingham Combination, on 13 January 1912.

He was virtually ever present in the half-back line during the 1913/13 & 1913/14 season, when Rovers had to apply for re-election after finishing in the bottom three of the league.

He played in the first 10 games of the 1914/15 season, when the Great War had started, but then lost his place.

After almost certainly serving in the First World Ward he returned to the Rovers, but could not cement a first team place, playing his last game for the Rovers against Stafford Rangers on 4 October 1919.
