An left sided half back, who made his debut against Willenhall Pickwick in February 1912. He had previously been playing for Walsall.
He was virtually ever present in the 1912/13 & 1913/14 Birmingham Combination campaigns, both of which ended with the Rovers having to seek re-election.
He moved to Shrewsbury Town at the start of the 1914/15 season.
