A forward from Rubery, who joined at the start of the 1912/13 Birmingham Combination campaign. He had previously been playing for Austin Motor Works.
He was given a trial on 23 November 1912 for Brighton and Hove XI, against Croydon, where he scored the only goal secured by his side. However, he was soon back playing for the Rovers.
He played for Alvechurch during the early part of the 1913/14 season, and it was reported he also had a trial for Darlaston. He returned to the Rovers in November 1913 but was unable to hold down a regular spot.
