A back, who joined Rovers from Redditch Town in November 1912. He made his debut against Bilston United on 30 November 1913 and was a regular in the back line for the rest of the season.
The following season he was chosen to represent the Birmingham Combination in a match with West Bromwich Albion reserves, at The Hawthorns on 27 September 1913.
