1896-1970 A right sided half-back, who was the brother of fellow Rovers half-back A. Glazzard. He had previously played for Worcester Rovers and Rugby Town. He made his debut against Stafford Rangers, in the Birmingham Combination, on 9 October 1920 and was a regular in the side during that campaign.
In April 1921 he represented Worcestershire in an inter-county match against Gloucestershire at Stroud, a match which ended 2-2.
He only missed one game in the 1921/22 campaign. He also played in the Worcestershire Senior Cup final against Stourbridge, where Rovers lost 1-0.
He was also virtually ever present in the following 2 campaigns. He was captain in the 1924/25 & 1925/26 campaigns.
In March 1926 he was selected to play in a trial match at the Victoria Ground for a place in the Birmingham Combination side to play the London Combination in April, but he was unable to play due to injury.
In fact, injuries were catching up with him at the tail end of the season. He was held in high esteem by the club and fans, so much so he was granted a benefit match in a Birmingham Combination match against Rugby Town in April 1926, despite the fact Rovers were struggling financially.
He left Rovers at the end of the 1925/26 campaign.
He was still playing in the 1930/31 season, when he played for Worcester St. Georges.
He also played Worcester League cricket in the summer months.
