W.R. "Tricky" Pearce was a diminutive forward, usually on the right wing.
He was the younger brother of fellow Rovers forward S.J. Pearce.
He was leading scorer in the 1921/22 campaign where he also played in the Worcestershire Senior Cup final against Stourbridge, where Rovers lost 1-0. In the 1922/23 campaign he was joint leading scorer with Barrett, both netted 11 goals.
