A centre forward who joined at the start of the 1921/22 Birmingham Combination campaign. He had previously played for Nettlefolds FC.
He made a very fine start to his Rovers career scoring a twice against Bournville on his debut on 17 September 2921. Despite having a decent goal scoring record he was never able to nail down the centre forward position in the 1921/22 campaign.
He returned to the Rovers at the start of the 1924/25 season, but never got back into the side.
