A left back who joined Rovers at the start of the 1932/33 season from Hinckley United. He moved into the half back line in the 1934/35 season.
Throughout his time at the club, he was never quite able to nail down a position in the side. His appearances became more limited in 1935/36 season and he played his last game for Rovers in January 1936.
