A half back who made his debut against Bournville Athletic, in the Birmingham Combination, on 22 September 1923 and made that the centre half back position his own that season.
He left Rovers after the 1924/25 campaign and the following season he played for Colwall before joining Evesham Town in December 1925.
He was the younger brother of fellow Rovers half-back Sidney Glazzard.
Away from football, in March 1928, whilst working as a police constable for Hereford City police he was awarded the bronze medal of the Society for the protection of life from fire for "rescuing a maid from the roof of Stoke Edith Mansion, Hereford" in December 1927.
