A forward or a half back, who joined Rovers in February 1925. He had previously played in the Football League for Southport, Brighton & Hove Albion & Birmingham.
In March 1926 he was selected to play in a trial match at the Victoria Ground for a place in the Birmingham Combination side to play the London Combination in April.
In the 1926/27 season he played for Hereford United.
