A forward who joined Rovers at the start of the 1926/27 season. He played in every game of that season and was the leading scorer. He was one of a number of players who captained the side that season.
He moved to Wellington Town in the higher ranked Birmingham League at the start of the 1927/28 season.
He returned to the Rovers in September 1932 after spells at Wellington and Shrewsbury Town, but his opportunities in the side were limited.
