An inside right or a right half, who joined Rovers at the start of the 1926/27 season. He joined from Kidderminster Harriers.
At the end of the season he was involved in trials to represent Worcestershire on an American tour.
Although he signed up for the 1928/29 season, he did not get onto the side.
It was reported he had joined the police force in Lancashire in December 1928.
