He played in the 1928/29 Worcestershire Senior Cup Final, where Rovers lost 3-2 to Worcester City. He scored.
Despite scoring 3 goals in 3 games at the start of the 1929/30 season he lost his place in the side and never played for Rovers again.
He played for Worcester City in the 1931/32 season.
