A full back who was brought to Bromsgrove by player-coach Frank Moss in October 1929. He had previously played for Walmley Athletic in the Birmingham Suburban League.
He established a successful partnership in the back line with J. Haddon in what was a poor season for Rovers, but where the defensive performances were often praised in match reports.
After making a single appearance for Rovers at the start of the 1930/31 season, he played for Halesowen Town the remainder of that season season.
