David "Darkie" Rees was a right back from Brierley Hill, who first appeared for Rovers in January 1932.
He was a fixture in the side in the 1932/33 and 1933/34 campaigns. He captained the side at the start of the 1932/33 campaign.
He joined Catshill Village Hall, who played in the Worcester Combination in July 1934.
