A forward who first appeared for Rovers in December 1935. He had been playing for Northfield Institute in the Kings Norton League and had recently been chosen to play in a pick of the Kings Norton League side.
After being the regular inside left for the second half of the 1935/36 campaign, his appearances were limited the following season.
He returned to the Rovers ranks in the 1938/39 season where he played for the reserve side, before returning to first team action in February 1939. That season he had also been playing for Stoke Works.
