An Alvechurch based goalkeeper who joined Rovers at the start of the 1935/36 season, but never appeared in the side that campaign. He finally made his debut in November 1936.
He was one of 6 keepers tried during a disappointing season for Rovers when they finished third from bottom of the Birmingham Combination, but could not establish himself in the side.
He returned to the side as emergency cover towards the end of the 1938/39 campaign.
