A goalkeeper who joined Rovers at the start of the 1938/39 season. He had previously played for Redhill Amateurs and had trials with Shirley Town and Redditch Town.
In a match against Birmingham "A" in September he suffered a compact fracture of his finger whilst attempting to save a penalty. He was out of action for the rest of the season and never played for Rovers again.
He had a small consolation when he was out injured in that he won a bottle of whiskey in a competition run at a game against Tamworth at the Victoria Ground in November 1938.
