Rovers will be hoping that the game against Corby on 31 October doesn't turn into a Halloween nightmare as they look for their first competitive goal in almost 5 hours of football. Trying to stop Rovers will be Corby keeper Danny Crane who gained a play off winners medal with us last season.

Ex-Rover Dean Curtis had been with Corby earlier in the season but has apparently been released. Corby are looking to recover from a poor start and drag Rovers into the fringes of the relegation zone by registering their first home win of the season.

Rod Brown looks to build on a decent performance against Kings Lynn last Saturday and will have striker Scott Rickards available again after his one game suspension for two yellow cards at Swindon.

On the injury front Carl Heeley will be out for around three weeks and Les Hines hamstring injury still gives cause for concern.

Rovers fans have fond memories of their last visit to Corby when on a snow covered pitch they registered a 4 - 0 win in Jimmy Mullen's first game in charge.
